Work permit in Poland
Every foreigner who under the law is not released from the obligation to have a work permit in Poland and who want to take up employment in Polish territory, must have the appropriate permit.
Party to the administrative proceeding shall be the employer which means that the person who submits application for issuing such permit is the employer who wishing to employ a foreigner and not a foreigner himself.
A completed application for a work permit for foreigner with the required documents should be submitted at least 30 days before the planned date of employment or extension of the employment of a foreigner.
Work permit is issued for a fixed period not longer than 3 years and may be extended.
Permits are issued for a specific employer, specific foreigner and in specific place for a specific work position for the period indicated dates.
